M15A2 Blank Firing Adapter (BFA), Red, NSN 1005-00-118-6192, for M16-Series Rifle (20-inch or similar barrel length)
Fits over the muzzle of the weapon and captures gas to make the weapon function and cycle with blank ammunition. Easy to install and does not alter the weapon.
Can safely be used on M4 carbine and M249 SAW, but it is not optimized for those weapons.
